The Edirne Regional Administrative Court has been established, with Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ provinces transferred from the jurisdiction of the Istanbul Regional Administrative Court, and Çanakkale transferred from the Bursa Regional Administrative Court. The Court of Cassation (Yargıtay) ruled on a dispute regarding the cancellation of an arbitration committee decision. While the local court dismissed the case on the grounds of administrative jurisdiction, the Court of Cassation determined that the dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the civil courts and overturned the decision in favor of the law.
