Turkey-Maldives Preferential Trade Agreement Origin Regulation Entered into Force
Procedures and principles regarding the determination of preferential origin of goods in trade within the framework of the Preferential Trade Agreement between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Maldives have been established. The regulation governs the concept and conditions of originating products, territoriality and change of status principles, prohibitions on drawback or exemption from customs duties, issuance and visa procedures of origin proof documents (EUR.1 Movement Certificate), and administrative cooperation and post-verification mechanisms between customs administrations.
