Decision on the Establishment, Closure, and Renaming of Certain Institutes and Faculties
Presidential Decree No. 11681 establishes the Graduate Education Institute at the International Islam, Science and Technology University of Turkey and the Faculty of Computer and Informatics Sciences at Yıldız Technical University. It abolishes the Institutes of Science, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences at the International Islam, Science and Technology University of Turkey, alongside the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Yıldız Technical University. Additionally, the decree renames the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Batman University to the Faculty of Theology, the Institute of Information Technologies at Gebze Technical University to the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, and the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences to the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences.

Amendment to the Regulation on Qualifications of Tourism Establishments
The Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Qualifications of Tourism Establishments sets forth that the provisions of paragraph 8 of Article 13 shall not apply to tourism establishments located in areas designated solely for commercial use in zoning plans prior to June 1, 2019, which hold partial tourism operation or tourism operation certificates, provided that condominium or easement rights exist over accommodation units belonging to the same owner.

Change:By adding a new eighth paragraph following the seventh paragraph of provisional article 1 of the Regulation on the Qualifications of Tourism Establishments, it is stipulated that the provision of paragraph 8 of Article 13 shall not apply in cases where condominium or easement exists on accommodation units belonging to the same owner within establishments having partial tourism operation or tourism operation certificates located in areas allocated solely for commercial use in zoning plans before 1/6/2019.

Amendments to Mersin University Faculty of Dentistry Regulations
The amendment to the Mersin University Faculty of Dentistry Education, Training and Examination Regulation introduces summer clinical makeup practice rights for 4th and 5th-year students who fail clinical application courses, and specifies the duration and conditions for such makeups. Furthermore, it regulates that clinical practical courses cannot be taken from other higher education institutions, excluding exchange programs.

Change:Subclauses (6) and (7) of paragraph (2)(b) of Article 24 of the Mersin University Faculty of Dentistry Education, Training and Examination Regulation have been amended, and a new subclause (8) has been added to the same bend, thereby updating the conditions, durations, and course types for summer clinical makeup applications and restricting clinical course transfers from other institutions.
