Remote Identification Rules Updated for Capital Markets and Crypto
The Capital Markets Board has amended the Communiqué on Remote Identification Methods and Establishment of Electronic Contract Relations for brokerage firms, portfolio management companies, and crypto asset service providers. The update introduces detailed procedures for remote identification of non-Turkish nationals using NFC-enabled passports and for verifying the identity and representation authorities of corporate entities registered in the trade registry.
