New Publication Regulation for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism

Change:The previous Ministry of Culture and Tourism Publication Regulation, published in the Official Gazette dated 11/12/2007 and numbered 26727, has been repealed and replaced with this new regulation.

Amended Legislation
Change:Article 8 of the regulation has been completely replaced to update support categories. Article 9 has been amended regarding application documents and exemptions for TV series. Article 15(2) was repealed, Article 25 was revised to modify TV series support criteria and caps, and Article 29 was amended to prohibit re-applications for projects involving previous legal defaults or refunds.

Monetary Threshold Updated in Customs Settlement Regulation
The regulation on customs settlement has been amended to increase the monetary threshold for determining the authority of settlement commissions from 3,000,000 TRY to 7,000,000 TRY. Applications submitted before this amendment will continue to be subject to the previous monetary threshold.
